Two Construction Sites under One Project
Victoria Shipyard Improvement Project, Foundations and Building Fit Out was completed in 2014. The Operation Centre and the VISSC Shop and Office are located on one property but are half a kilometre apart. The construction sites were separated by the Esquimalt Graving Dock, creating two separate job sites for one project. The buildings were cast-in-place concrete foundations with structural steel for the main structure.
