The project involves the complete replacement of the existing timber-framed bridge that crosses Tod Creek at Durrance Road. The new structure is a clear-span pre-cast concrete box stringer bridge. It features a 2-way vehicular travel and a single pedestrian walkway.
The bridge is designed to increase the span width over the creek, where new in-stream bed material and rip rap will be placed around new steel piles and concrete abutments.
Built using MOTI specifications, a strict Environmental Plan, and clear guidelines for working in and around water, our team will be diligent and take protective measures to ensure the safety of all community members, the fish, and the sensitive environment surrounding this project.
