An Environmentally Sensitive Build with Use of Our Own Forces
This project involved a deep excavation in soft clays with an internally braced sheet pile shoring system designed by our team. Major civil works and concrete work was carried out by our own forces, using careful staging to ensure the existing system continued to operate. This station is located in an area of environmental sensitivity due to an adjacent fish-bearing watercourse and proximity to an active elementary school and a large urban hospital complex.
