Disinfecting & Protecting Local Water Supply
We constructed the Capital Regional District UV Plant in the Goldstream area for the Victoria Water Department. This water disinfection plant employs a UV disinfection system to disinfect the local water supply for the Capital Region. Raw water from the Sooke Lake reservoir is brought to this disinfection facility through the Kapoor tunnel. This project consisted of high pressure water mains, UV reactors, and associated controls. The building is located in the Japan Gulch water treatment area.
